We are looking for an experienced marketing person, whose prime responsibility will be the promotion of the Group’s English Language courses.  This full-time post will commence in September/October, is based in Bournemouth and will involve 12-16 weeks overseas travel per year in Europe and Latin/South America.  Suitable candidates must be fluent, both written and spoken, in Spanish.  This post offers an excellent opportunity for a dynamic person with commercial acumen and strong communication and presentation skills.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for recording and updating the school’s digital marketing output across a variety of platforms. Responsibilities will include the preparation, coordination and evaluation of comprehensive social media plans, create content for blogs, features, posts and constant contact e-mail shots, research new opportunities to engage on other social media platforms, create and distribute audio visual content, arrange soft and hard marketing mail-shots, coordinate public relations and provide assistance in updating the websites.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in digital marketing, analytics and optimisation, along with an excellent command of the English language both written and spoken. Familiarity in WordPress would also be beneficial. Prospective candidates should note that when required, evening and weekend work will be necessary.

We are looking for CELTA/DELTA qualified teachers for the summer months July/August to work in our Executive Centre. We offer general and specialised English courses in mini groups (maximum 4 students) and on a one-to-one basis. The basic contract offered is for 20 lessons per week, however there may be opportunities to teach up to 40 lessons per week subject to student enrolments.
We also have opportunities for qualified teachers on our General English, Vacation and Young Learner Courses.  None of these courses are residential so accommodation cannot be offered.

Anglo-Continental requires an experienced cleaner for its premises.

The successful applicant will be working as part of the Facilities team, responsible for cleaning the school’s premises to the highest standards at 29-35 Wimborne Road, Bournemouth BH2 6NA.

Proven experience is essential and an attractive rate of pay is offered. The hours are from 15.00 to 20.00 hours, Monday to Friday.  Possible additional hours may be required during the summer months and for cover periods.  Please note that each year we operate a holiday blackout period and the dates this year where holiday will not be permitted is from 19 June to 11 August.

Safeguarding (Child and Adult at Risk Protection Policy)

As part of our safeguarding policy, ALL potential candidates when being invited to participate in a face-to-face, telephone or skype interview are given the following information. All temporary staff will now be asked to pay for an Enhanced DBS check which Anglo-Continental will carry out. The current cost is £49.00 and this amount will be deducted from their first salary payment. This check is valid for three years. Anglo-Continental will then pay for any further checks if required.

Anglo-Continental accepts students under the age of 18 years and the law classifies these young people as children. As a consequence, Anglo-Continental has implemented a number of safeguarding systems and procedures during the recruitment process. Potential employees are informed that references will be followed up; all gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily; proof of identity and qualifications will be required; reference requests will ask specifically whether there is any reason that they should not be employed in situations where they have responsibility for, or access to, persons under 18 years of age.
