Annual Recess
Anglo-Continental schools are closed:
- 19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027 for 2 weeks.
- 25 December 2027 to 2 January 2028 for 1 week.
Official Holidays
Anglo-Continental schools are also closed on official holidays declared by the British Government.

Courses normally commence on Mondays. If your entry date coincides with an official holiday your accommodation will still be reserved for you from the Sunday before your course commences, and we would advise you to plan to arrive on that day. Your course will begin with the Entry Test on the Tuesday following the holiday.
Accommodation during school holidays 2026
If you are attending a course which continues after the school holidays, 19 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, homestay accommodation will be upgraded to full board during the holiday, at a supplement of £70 per week. This will be automatically reserved and invoiced. If you do not require this accommodation, you must inform us at least 4 weeks before the holiday period and we will arrange a full refund.
