At Anglo-Continental, we have a long successful history in preparing our students for English language examinations. The IELTS Preparation Vacation Course will prepare students for the highly regarded International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination.
The course is designed to develop the necessary skills relevant to the IELTS examination and to present and practise language appropriate to the students’ needs. Timed
practice tests provide an idea of what it is like to work under pressure during a real examination.
IELTS Preparation Courses
Recognised worldwide, IELTS assesses the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. Our IELTS Preparation Vacation Courses are
intended for those who wish to benefit from preparation for the IELTS test, which includes listening, speaking, reading and writing components.
The courses aim to raise the students level of general English by providing 20 lessons per week of intensive English language study, combined with 10 lessons per week of practice for the IELTS examination. Teachers will familiarise students with the format of the examination and will introduce strategies for dealing with typical questions.
Homework
Homework forms an integral part of the course.
Excursions, Sports and Leisure Activities
A variety of excursions, sports and leisure activities are a key part of this programme. The excursions and activities are carefully chosen to support continuous language development and to encourage students to practise their English skills outside of the classroom with other international students.
